Product Overview

ALTRAD SPARDECK Scaffolding Steel Board is a precision-engineered product of ALTRAD SPAR, a galvanized steel scaffold board system designed for industrial, oil & gas, and infrastructure applications where a nonslip, high-load, long-life working platform is required. To ensure uniformity, rigidity, and dimensional accuracy, each board is made from high-strength galvanized steel and formed using cold-press roll-forming technology.

SPARD ECK boards are made in compliance with Aramco GI 8.001 (Section 5 – Working Platforms) and SABIC §9.4 (Platform Material Requirements) as well as BS EN 12811-1 for load class and deflection control.

The panel has perforated anti-slip surfaces, drainage holes, and closed box ends with COâ‚‚-welded caps to provide a safe footing, water discharge, and protection against corrosion.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Load Tested & Certified: Exceeds BS EN 12811 Class 6 (≥ 3.0 kN/m²).
  • Anti-Slip Surface: Machine-perforated for maximum grip even in wet or oily conditions.
  • Corrosion Resistance: Hot-dip galvanized ≥ 85 µm per ISO 1461.
  • Uniform Strength: Cold-formed S235/S355 steel for superior rigidity.
  • Drainage & Venting: Prevents water accumulation and slip hazards.
  • Closed-End Design: Reduces moisture ingress and increases life span.
  • Fire & Heat Resistant: Non-combustible surface, ideal for refinery works.
  • Compatibility: Fits Cuplock, Ringlock, and Tube & Fittings systems.
