Product Overview

The‍‌‍‍‌ Cuplock Transom is the leading platform-supporting member of the modular scaffolding system of the ALTRAD SPAR. The transom, which spans between ledgers, carries the load of steel boards, LVL boards, or timber planks that form the working platform.

To enable a wedge or jaw-ended connector to be fitted, each transom has a connector that allows it to be locked firmly onto the ledger blades, thus forming a deck structure that is not only rigid but also self-aligning. The rectangular or “T” section design prevents twisting and reduces deflection under heavy loads, providing a safe platform for heavy-duty industrial and construction applications.

Transoms are made in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 3834-2 quality standards and meet the requirements of Aramco GI 8.001, SABIC §9.4, BS EN 74, and BS EN 12811 ‍‌‍‍‌standards.

Key Features & Advantages

  • High Load Capacity: Supports working platform loads up to 4.5 kN.
  • Precision Fit: Secure jaw seating ensures lateral stability with zero movement.
