Product Overview

Cuplock Universal Jack is a dual-purpose adjustable component that can be used at both the top and bottom of scaffolding and shoring systems. By means of a Base Jack (when put on the ground) or a U-Head Jack (when placed at the top), it is a device that provides vertical adjustability and ensures that the load is transferred correctly through the scaffold structure. The Universal Jack can deliver accurate changes under heavy load situations because it is made from high-strength S355 steel with rolled ACME threads. To the Aramco GI 8.001, SABIC §9.4, BS EN 74, and BS EN 12811 standards; all jacks are subjected to 100% dimensional and coating inspection.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Dual Application: Can be used as either a top or a bottom adjustable jack.
  • High Load Capacity: Tested safe working load (SWL) of 45 kN..
  • Smooth Adjustment: Precision-rolled ACME threads ensure effortless rotation under load.
  • Full Compliance: Conforms to Aramco, SABIC, and BS EN performance standards.
  • Galvanized Protection: Hot-dip galvanized with ≥ 85 µm coating for superior corrosion resistance.
  • Universal Compatibility: Fits , , and standard 48.3 mm scaffolding systems.

Quality Assurance & Inspection

QA/QC Procedures:

  • Raw material verification through Mill Test Certificates (EN 10219).
  • Thread machining inspection using precision pitch gauges.
  • Galvanizing thickness testing (minimum 85 µm).
  • Proof load testing (45 kN SWL) under axial compression.
  • Dimensional check (length, straightness, and plate flatness).
  • Final marking and QA documentation per ALTRAD SPARQA SOP 12.3.
