Product Overview

Base Jack is the adjustable foundation support that gives the Ringlock modular scaffolding system the most basic yet necessary support of a structure. It is the device that actually makes each scaffold tower, birdcage, or access bay structurally stable and safe by starting from a level, load-bearing base. This is a rolled-thread spindle with a forged nut and a galvanized base plate, welded at the bottom to evenly distribute the load. The material used for the product is S355 grade steel, and it is tested entirely under compression to BS EN 12811 Annex D; thus, the Base Jack can provide a safe working load of 45 kN and an acceptable leveling range up to 300 mm.

This component can be deployed as a hybrid of (Cuplock) Base Jacks across ALTRAD SPAR’s hire and sales inventory, while remaining dimensionally compliant with Ringlok standards.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Adjustable Leveling Range: ± 300 mm for accurate ground compensation.
  • High Load Capacity: 45 kN SWL / 67 kN ultimate load tested per BS EN 12811.
  • Universal Compatibility: Fits both Ringlock and Cuplock systems (36 mm spindle OD).
  • Corrosion Protection: Hot-dip galvanized ≥ 85 µm per ISO 1461.
  • Smooth Adjustment: ACME rolled threads prevent binding under load.
  • Stability: 150 × 150 mm plate prevents settlement and soil punch-through.
  • Maintenance-Free Operation: No bolts or pins; simple thread adjustment.
