Product Overview

SP-RING Transom is the deck-supporting member in the Ringlok modular scaffolding system. It is a component that runs perpendicular to the ledgers, forming the main platform-bearing structure for steel or LVL scaffold boards. On each piece of the transom, there are forged ledger-end connections that, through the wedge-and-slot system interface, lock into the rosette node. This assures secure engagement, and it is stated that the deflection under the load is very low.

Transoms are made to be very durable, safe, and in line with the Aramco, SABIC, and BS EN scaffold standards through the use of high-quality materials and finishes. They are manufactured from S355 high-strength steel and hot-dip galvanized for the best corrosion resistance.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Deck Load Capacity: Supports up to 6.25 kN/m² distributed platform load.
  • Rigid Connection: Self-locking wedge engagement for anti-slip and vibration resistance.
  • Precision Alignment: Maintains deck level accuracy within ±2 mm tolerance.
  • High Durability: Forged end connectors resist deformation and wear.
  • Corrosion Resistant: ≥ 85 µm hot-dip galvanized finish (ISO 1461).
  • Quick Installation: Compatible with Standards, Ledgers, and ALTRAD SPARSteel Boards.
